Background:
The City of Broken Arrow has been awarded a Fiscal Year 2025 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) award administered by the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security (OKOHS). The award provides $123,317.40 in federal funding for endpoint protection and data security enhancement to strengthen the City's cybersecurity capabilities.
The project will support enhancements to the City's endpoint protection and data security capabilities. The award requires a 40% local cost share of $82,211.60, resulting in a total project cost of $205,529.00. The local cost share will be provided through the City's Information Technology budget.
Approval of this resolution authorizes acceptance of the grant award and authorizes the City Manager to execute the grant agreement and related documents.
