Background:

For the past several years, Hillcrest Exercise and Lifestyle Programs (HELP) has been conducting the Fire Department pension physicals. Due to a cost increase from $435.00 to $550.00 per physical, the Fire Department sought quotes from other agencies that would qualify under the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). Only HELP and Work Health Solutions submitted quotes. After reviewing the submitted quotes, HELP’s quote remained the lowest.  Staff recommends that the Council award the most advantageous quote to HELP and authorize an agreement for provision of these services.

Cost:                                                                $550.00 per physical, and $54.00 for an optional PSA test.
