Background:
The original project consisted of performing Infiltration and Inflow (I&I) reduction field investigations and preparing a defects summary report and rehabilitation recommendations for the future rehabilitation of the Wastewater Collection System Lynn Lane WWTP Subbasins LL30 and LL33. After the field investigations and reports were complete, there were several defects identified to be rehabilitated. These defects were split into 3 phases of rehabilitation projects that will be bid out for construction and 1 phase of work that will be completed by interna; Utilities Department crews. This amendment is to design the in-house construction portion of the projects as well as Phase I of the projects that will be bid out for construction. The amendment also includes preparing construction documents and providing other professional services for Phase I of the rehabilitation projects. Future amendments are anticipated for the remaining two phases of the project.
For this reason, Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Consultant Agreement was negotiated with Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. for a fee of $156,000.00 for this portion of the project for LL30 and LL33.
Cost: $156,000.00
