Background:
The Caterpillar DP50N1 10,000lb Diesel Forklift is replacing Forklift Unit number 037 for the Purchasing Department. Forklift 037 is 38 years old leading Fleet to recommending replacement over repair of the old unit. DARR Equipment Company provided the proposal utilizing Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing contract (formerly NJPA) contract number 091520-MCF. This includes a 12-month, 2,000-hour full coverage warranty and a 24-month, 4,000-hour powertrain warranty.
