End

Background:

Mr. Clint Myers, Engineering Technician for City of Broken Arrow recently oversaw the creation of a new, improved Rose District Way Finding signs to better assist directing motorist to the Rose District.  The new Rose District Wayfinding Signs are displayed in the following locations:

Elm & Broken Arrow Expressway- 2 on the off ramps

Lynn Lane & Broken Arrow Expressway- 2 on the off ramps

Elm & Creek Turnpike- 2 on the off ramps

Kenosha & Lynn Lane- 1 north leg for southbound traffic

Lynn Lane & Dallas- 2 one for each northbound and southbound traffic (we will wait to put these up till after the Lynn Lane project is complete)

Elm & Kenosha- 1 north leg for southbound traffic

Elm & Broadway- 2 one for each northbound and southbound traffic

Plan for new street signs in the Rose District:

City employees will be replacing the signs at Main & College, Broadway, Commercial, Dallas, El Paso, Ft Worth, Galveston, Broadway & Ash and Birch. When replaced they will be changed to the newly designed street name signs that will include the full color Rose District logo.  Staff will update the DAB on the status of the signs.

Cost:                                                                $624.00 for printing of signs
