Background:
The State of Oklahoma currently has a Contract for the purchase and installation of audio visual equipment from Ford Audio-Video Systems LLC. Contract Number SW1021 is valid from October 15, 2015, to October 14, 2016. All State Departments, Boards, Commissions, Agencies and Institutions as well as Counties, School Districts and Municipalities may purchase audio visual equipment from this contract. Base pricing and selected options for the equipment are reflected in the attached proposal. The proposal includes the bid for this equipment under the State Contract.
The purpose for this project is to purchase audio visual equipment for the large flat classroom at the Broken Arrow Police/Fire Training Center. Once completed, this space would be used to conduct large training classes and/or host large events and meetings for both the Police Department and the Fire Department. This space has also been utilized in the past for various Home Owner's Association meetings and by Leadership Broken Arrow.
Furthermore, Ford Audio-Video has successfully completed numerous projects at both the Police/Fire Training Facility and the Public Safety Complex. The Police Department and the Fire Department recommend the purchase from Ford Audio-Video Systems, LLC as the most advantageous.
