Approval of and authorization to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Rexel USA, Inc. for The Verdigris River Water Treatment Plant SCADA Upgrades

Background:
The Utilities Department requests approval of a Professional Services Agreement with Rexel USA, Inc., doing business as Rexel Automation Solutions, to provide Rockwell Automation TechConnect technical support for the Verdigris River Water Treatment Plant’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. This agreement supports the plant’s SCADA upgrades by providing access to technical assistance and software updates for covered automation control hardware and human-machine interface software used to monitor and operate plant processes.
The proposed services include telephone and electronic assistance with equipment and software installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic programming. The proposal provides technical support coverage 24 hours per day, seven days per week, throughout the one-year coverage period. Rexel Automation Solutions will serve as the distributor, with technical support services provided by Rockwell Automation. Access to this support will assist plant personnel in resolving operating issues, maintaining supported software, and reducing potential interruptions to water treatment operations.
The agreement establishes compensation in an amount not to exceed $14,085.00, with a twelve-month performance period following issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Staff recommends approval of the Professional Services Agreement and authorization for its execution on behalf of the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority.
