Consideration, discussion and possible approval of and authorization to execute Agreement for Waterline Relocation, construction Administration, and Cost Reimbursement with Tulsa County for the Omaha Waterline Improvements Project on Omaha Street from 9th Street to 23rd Street (Project No. WL22010)
End
Background:
The Omaha Waterline Improvements BAMA Project involves relocating an existing 12‑inch waterline to accommodate Tulsa County’s roadway widening project along Omaha Street between 9th Street and 23rd Street. Because the current waterline lies within the existing right‑of‑way, it conflicts with the planned widening and must be moved. Tulsa County will administer the construction contract, while BAMA will fund the portion of work associated with relocating its waterline infrastructure.
Tulsa County received bids for the project on April 17, 2026, and opened them on April 20, 2026. The project was awarded to BECCO Contractors, Inc. for a total cost of $9,578,000.00, of which BAMA’s share for the waterline relocation is $1,295,270.00.
This interlocal agreement defines the responsibilities of each entity during construction, including cost responsibilities and coordination requirements, as well as the payment process.
