Background:
New Orleans Street (101st Street South) roadway improvements from Olive Avenue (129th East Avenue) to Aspen Avenue (145th East Avenue) is a 2011 General Obligation Bond project. An Agreement for Professional Services was negotiated with the engineering firm of Walter P. Moore and Associates, Inc., on November 11, 2011, and the engineer completed the design in 2012. However, construction of the project was delayed in favor of higher priority projects until the 2015 bond sale. Now that funding is available for construction, an amendment to the Agreement is required to finalize the plans and specifications. The cost of the services is $14,025.00.
Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement is attached. Staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for Professional Consulting Services.
