Background:
Battle Creek Golf Course has budgeted for the purchase of one (1) Zero Turn Mower under CIP Project BC61020.
A Sourcewell quote (2943965) in the amount of $18,484.72 has been received from Stewart Martin Kubota of Broken Arrow. If approved this purchase will be made through the Sourcewell Purchasing Contract, specifically Contract #112624-KBA, which is approved for use by the City of Broken Arrow.
Battle Creek Golf Course is requesting the purchase of this mower to ensure the golf course can continue to meet its maintenance and operational needs.
Sourcewell is a cooperative procurement program designed for government agencies. All vendors under Sourcewell have undergone a competitive bidding process, which ensures compliance with statutory procurement requirements and provides access to pre-negotiated, competitive pricing.
The Maintenance Services Department recommends utilizing the Sourcewell Purchasing Cooperative in lieu of a traditional bid process. This approach will save time and reduce administrative costs typically associated with developing and evaluating formal bids or RFPs.
