Background:
Each day the Verdigris River Water Treatment Plant pumps 10 - 26 million gallons of partially treated water into the PALL Aria Membrane System via specialty sized feed pumps. The existing pumps have reached their expected life of 10+ years and need to be replaced. Staff plan to replace (2) two pumps immediately and then rebuild the remaining (4) four pumps over the next (2) years.
Staff have located specialty replacement pumps that are designed as compatible with the PALL Aria membrane filters and meet the original design intensions. All apparatus, connections, and electrical are specific to direct replacement and are quoted by Sourcewell Contract #091422-MII, which provided competitive pricing and ensures compliance with procurement regulations.
Cost: $136,141.42
