title

Approval of and authorization to ratify a Clinical Rotation Agreement between Tulsa Technology Center and the City of Broken Arrow

End

Background:

Broken Arrow Fire Department has multiple clinical rotation agreements with several area EMS education programs.

Tulsa Technology Center is a multi-year partner with the city.  This agreement provides the school with a required field training setting for both EMT and Paramedic programs.  The agreement provides the opportunity for students to ride along on ambulances with Fire Department personnel to gain supervised patient care experiences.

This agreement is beneficial to the Broken Arrow Fire Department as well as the Technology Center by providing the opportunity for recruitment of outstanding TTC EMT and Paramedic students for the department while the student gains field experience.
