Background:

Property owner, Forrest Hest, has submitted an application requesting the closure of an approximately 0.08 acre drainage easement on property located approximately one-quarter mile south of Dearborn Street (East 41st Street), one-quarter mile east of Aspen Avenue (145th East Avenue). The property is currently under development as a single-family residential subdivision.

The drainage easement was dedicated by Book 7212, Page 1897 in Tulsa County, as part of the Greenbriar at Battle Creek subdivision to the south. The property this easement crosses is under review to be platted as Honey Springs.

Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the drainage easement closure. This ordinance was previewed by the City Council on September 5, 2023.
