Approval of quotes received, award of the lowest responsible quote to Acura Neon, Inc., and approval of and authorization to execute a purchase order for the Central Park Community Center Marquee Sign (Project No. 166010)

Background:
The Marquee Sign at the Central Community Center needs to be upgraded and replaced with a sign containing an electronic message board. The Parks Department budgeted Sales Tax Capital Improvements funds for this purpose. Engineering and Construction Department produced a drawing for a sign and requested the Purchasing Division to solicit quotes for supplying and erecting the sign. Two (2) quotes were received, from Crown Neon and Acura Neon, Inc. Acura Neon, Inc., submitted the low quote, in the amount of $25,875.00. The quotes are attached. Staff recommends award of the contract to Acura Neon, Inc.
Funding is from Sales Tax Capital Improvements.
Cost: $25,875,00
