Approval of and authorization to purchase workstations and flooring through Xybix, pursuant to the Oklahoma State Master Agreement

Background:
The Broken Arrow Emergency Communications Centers (BAECC) workstation are deteriorating and the manufacture has discontinued the product. The BAECC’s flooring is showing signs of wear and tear and is in need of replacing. Xybix has provided a quote to replace the workstation and flooring and provides a buyback of the existing workstation lifts. Xybix is the vendor for our existing workstation, provides workstations to major Emergency Communication Centers across the country and has a maintenance and warranty presence in Tulsa.
The City of Broken Arrow’s purchase through Xybix is made under the State of Oklahoma Master Agreement SW1053X via NASPO and authorized for services under City ordinance per Section 2-27 of the Broken Arrow Code allowing exceptions to the established competitive bidding process.
Cost: $409,501.09
