Background:
The Central Park Family Aquatic Center is located at 1400 South Main Street. The aquatic center has two slides and two raindrop sprays in need of resurfacing and restoration.
The project was advertised for bids on December 20th and 27th, 2017. Bids were opened on January 16th, 2018 and three (3) bids were received. The Certified Bid Tabulation is attached. The lowest responsible bidder was Stronghand, LLC, with a base bid of $24,735.00 for the resurfacing and restoration of the two slides and an Additive Alternate Bid of $2,900.00 for the resurfacing and restoration of the two raindrop sprays.
Staff recommends awarding both the base bid and the additive alternate contract in the amount of $27,635.00 to Stronghand, LLC,
Funding for the improvements will be from the STCI parks.
Cost: $27,635.00
