Approval of Minor Change Order C01 for Construction Contract 153001, Public Safety Complex Fencing

Background:
The Public Safety Complex Fencing project is a follow-on project to the Public Safety Complex project completed in 2014. The project includes 7-foot fences, three rolling vehicle gates and two pedestrian gates and concrete "monument" fence posts with ceramic tile facing to match the building fa?ade were included in the bid. Vinyl-coated chain link fences of the same heights as the decorative fence were also included for an area on the northeast property line. The project was advertised for bids on May 19 and 26, 2015, and bids were opened on June 11, 2015. The low bidder was Owasso Fence Company in the total amount of $121,945.00. Funding for the improvements came from the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund.
Change Order CO1 addresses changes required to increase the contract time for the project due to the redesign of the monument posts. Redesign was necessary because of the unavailability of specified materials. This change includes 21 additional contract days, extending the day count to 81 days. There is no additional cost to the project as associated with this Change Order.
