Background:
The Parks Department has identified the need to purchase one (1) new Kubota SVL65 Skid Loader to support park maintenance and other departmental operations. Funding for this purchase is identified as project #2760110 in the Sales Tax & Capital Improvement Equipment section in the FY2027 Budget.
Stewart Martin Equipment provided a quote for the equipment through Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Contract No. 112624-KBA. The City of Broken Arrow is a participating Sourcewell member, Member ID No. 67325.
The Sourcewell cooperative contract complies with Section 2-27(b)(5) of the Broken Arrow Code of Ordinances, which provides an exception to the competitive bidding process for purchases made through state contracts or purchasing consortiums.
After review of specifications and final quote, staff recommends approval of and authorization to purchase one (1) new Kubota SVL65 Tracked Skid Loader from Stewart Martin Equipment, pursuant to Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Contract No. 112624-KBA, in the amount of $66,262.74.
