Approval of and authorization to execute purchase of one (1) Caterpillar 938 Wheel Loader from Warren CAT utilizing the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Contract

Background:
The Caterpillar 938 Wheel Loader is replacing Wheel Loader Unit number 0325 for the Utilities Construction Team. Wheel Loader 0325 was 20 years old and had the transmission fail leading to Fleet recommending replacement over repair of the old unit. Warren CAT provided the proposal utilizing Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing contract (formerly NJPA) membership number 67325. This includes a 24-month, 2000-hour full machine warranty and 84-month, 4000-hour premier extended warranty
