Background:
The Building Maintenance Department is seeking to purchase (1) 2024 Ford F-350 Regular Cab Truck with a Knapheide Service Body truck. This tuck is replacing unit number 0408.
In alignment with the budgetary allocation in the Broken Arrow Municipal (BAMA) Capital Outlay budget, funds have been approved for the acquisition of a new Truck for the Maintenance Services Department, identified under Project Number 2551070.
To optimize Broken Arrow’s resources and capitalize on cost efficiencies, Maintenance Services Department recommends the purchase of the new Ford F-350 be executed under the Oklahoma statewide Contract number SW035. This contract facilitates municipal agencies across the State of Oklahoma to procure vehicles at the state contract price, offering a substantial cost advantage. The utilization of the State of Oklahoma Contract SW035 ensures compliance with budgetary constraints while securing a high-quality asset for the Building Maintenance Department.
