Background:

To assist the Downtown Overlay District Coordinating Committee, City Staff has prepared a document requesting proposals from qualified firms to establish necessary residential development standards and design guidelines.  The study area encompasses one square mile located south of Kenosha Street, North of Houston Street, east of Elm Place and west of 9th Street.

 

The attached Request For Proposals (RFP) document establishes the general parameters for conducting this study and adoption of design guidelines.  Staff recommends that the Council approve issuance of a Request for Proposal.
