Background:

The City Council will consider scheduling Quarterly Meet and Greets in various parts of the city of Broken Arrow. Each event will be announced in advance, featuring a published agenda with specific topics for discussion.

Key Points:

Purpose: Residents can stay informed and interact with elected officials and City leadership.

Leadership Presence: City Council members and City leadership will facilitate discussions.

Public Participation: Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and engage.

Transparency and Dialogue: These meetings aim to maintain transparency in communications with citizens, providing an excellent opportunity for open dialogue. It should be noted that a recap of the meetings will be provided by the Administration to the public.

Key Discussion Topics: One of the main topics will include the 2026 GO Bond election. Also, the meetings could include other city matters or public issues as requested by Council or citizens. 

It could also include an opportunity to provide public education on such important topics as:

                     Public Education on Broken Arrow’s Council-Manager Form of Government and how we differ from other cities in the region.

                     Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and street maintenance projects

                     Public Safety Activities

                     Solid Waste & Recycling Operations

                     Utility Operations and services

                     Update on approved 2018 GOB Projects

                     Update on city initiatives like the Micro Transit Program and Gateway signage
