Background:

The 23rd Street Widening from Albany Street to Omaha Street Project (ST1931&1932) is being designed by Benham Design, LLC and is a named 2018 GO Bond, Transportation Project.  As part of the original contract scope, the City and consultant designed for the widening of 23rd Street from Albany Street to Omaha Street with a Bridge Replacement.  During the project development, $3 million of Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding has been approved and programmed for this project, which requires the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) to conduct the bidding process.  The Engineering & Construction Department recommends amending the original contract with Benham Design, LLC for the amount of $154,150.00 to revise the design deliverables to standard ODOT bidding format requirements, prepare the 404 permit application, update the survey to show acquired right-of-way, and update the RWD4 waterline relocation at the north limits of the project.
