Background:
The City of Broken Arrow has worked with the Homebuilders Association of Greater Tulsa (HBA) and the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors (GTAR), local Developers and Builders for the last 10 years to promote the two (2) week period of Parade of Homes. Broken Arrow has lead the region in new residential home starts for over a decade and realizes the importance of quality developments and associated homes.
The 2016 Parade of Homes runs from June 18, 2016 through June 26, 2016. The Developers, Builders and Realtors request each year to allow Direction Signs be placed along the Parade routes in public rights-of-way to help citizens find way to the parade homes and wonderful developments in our City. Those requesting approval and authorization by Council to place directional signage are listed below. Many others will not place directional signage, but will have signage at their main development entrances.
The companies requesting directional signage are listed below:
Berwick on Cedar Ridge, RLand Development Group: four (4) signs
Forest Creek and Forest Ridge, Capital Homes: three (3) signs
Spring Creek and Stonehorse, Simmons Homes: four (4) signs
Forest Ridge, DMP Custom Homes: two (2) signs
Washington Lane, Lee Signature Properties: seven (7) signs
City Staff has reviewed the request and recommends approval.
