Background:
In March of 2024, City Council approved the Federal Fiscal Year 2024 (FFY2024) CDBG application which was awarded by the Indian Nations Council of Governments (INCOG). This application included funding for the College Addition roadway improvements project (ST24170). The ST24170 was designed, bid and construction is now substantially complete. All available CDBG funds provided were utilized on the project and additional City funds were needed to supplement construction.
Having identified additional unobligated CDBG funds, $111,063.08, that need to be expended according to federal requirements, INCOG inquired of City staff if said unobligated funds could be utilized on the College Addition project. Staff agreed to utilize the additional CDBG funds to replace City funding which was required to award the construction project. The attached amendment formalizes acceptance of the additional CDBG funds.
