Background:
The City of Broken Arrow is proposing to annex the property identified on the attached annexation map. Specifically, upon request of the property owner, Kum and Go No. 83, City Staff is recommending annexation of 1.15 acres of land located in Lot Nine (9), Block Two (2), Prairie Dale, a subdivision of part of the E/2 of the SE/4 of Section 21, Township 18 North, Range 15 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Wagoner County, State of Oklahoma. The purpose of the annexation is to bring it within the jurisdiction of the City and to allow for additional parking and the installation of diesel gasoline pumps.

The attached Legal Notice of Annexation was approved by the City Council in their meeting of May 17, 2016, and was mailed in accordance with the provisions of Title 11, Section 21-103. This Legal Notice of Annexation advised all property owners within a 300-foot radius of the proposed annexation. Further, publication was accomplished in accordance with the provisions of this statute in advance of the public hearing.
