Background:
In alignment with the budgetary allocation in the Broken Arrow Municipal (BAMA) Capital Outlay budget, funds have been approved for the acquisition of a new F-550 Crew Cab truck for Utilities Water Distribution Department, identified under Project Number 2554190.
To optimize Broken Arrow’s resources and capitalize on cost efficiencies, Maintenance Services Department recommends the purchase of the new Ford F-550 with service body with 11ft bed be executed under the Oklahoma statewide Contract number SW035. This contract facilitates municipal agencies across the State of Oklahoma to procure vehicles at the state contract price, offering a substantial cost advantage. The utilization of the State of Oklahoma Contract SW035 ensures compliance with budgetary constraints while securing a high-quality asset for the Utilities Department.
Following a thorough evaluation of available options, the Maintenance Services Department recommends the approval and award to Vance Country Ford.
