Background:

The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from Vrooman Living Trust and Frances M Day Trust, the owners. Parcel 12.0 consists of 0.27 acres of permanent Right-of-Way generally located at the Southeast corner of Aspen Avenue and Tucson Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 17 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma. Vrooman Living Trust and Frances M Day Trust has accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

 

Permanent Right of Way: 11,546.70 SQUARE FEET (SF) @ $3.25 SF = $37,527.00

Settlement Costs: $12,473.00

Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $50,000.00

 

A copy of the signed acceptance of the City’s offer is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed. Payment of the compensation amount is on the May 7, 2024 City Council Claims List.
