title

Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of allowing the Oklahoma Military History Center to permanently display a 75mm Pack Howitzer in front of the museum building

End

Background:

The Oklahoma Military History Center has received a 75mm pack howitzer from the 45th Division Museum. A howitzer was a fixture at the old National Guard Armory on College Street.

General Tom Mancino believes the Howitzer will make a great addition to the appearance of the Oklahoma Military History Center. Mr. Mancino proposes to place it fifteen (15) feet from the edge of the existing brick walk and four (4) feet from the sidewalk. The howitzer will be secured by placing the trail on a concrete slab and securing it with a Hilti bolt. The ATF has confirmed that it has been rendered unusable.
