Background:
The City of Broken Arrow has been awarded a Fiscal Year 2025 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) award administered by the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security (OKOHS). The award provides $32,400.00 in federal funding for an independent third-party cybersecurity penetration test and risk assessment to evaluate the City's existing cybersecurity defenses and identify potential vulnerabilities.
The project will provide independent testing of the City's cybersecurity environment to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks and assist the City in strengthening its cybersecurity defenses. The award requires a 40% local cost share of $21,600.00, resulting in a total project cost of $54,000.00. The local cost share will be provided through the City's Information Technology budget.
