Approval of and authorization to execute an Amendment to extend the Service Agreement (contract renewal) for one year with Momentum Services for Nuisance Abatement Property Structure Securing

Background:
The Community Development Department currently has a contract with Momentum Services for nuisance abatement. This service includes the mowing, cleaning and the removal of trash and debris on properties that have been through the abatement process and failed to self-abate.
The contract agreement provides renewal periods for two years; this will be the second renewal. The current contract period ends December 21, 2025. For this renewal, Momentum Services has submitted a 0.0% cost increase. They have provided acceptable levels of service during this past agreement period and staff recommends renewing the agreement for an additional year.
Total expenditures paid towards the current contract from December 21, 2024 through November 21, 2025 are $35,893.
