Background:

Oklahoma Natural Gas Company (ONG), a Division of ONE Gas, Inc., has prepared the attached Gas Facilities Relocation Agreement for the 9th Street Widening project from Flight Safety to Houston Street.  The total estimated relocation cost is $462,544.00, with the City share estimated at $147,228.00 (31.8% of the total). The City share is for relocation of gas facilities located in current ONG exclusive easements to City right-of-way.  Relocation cannot start until all right-of-way for the project is acquired.  Staff recommends that the City Council approve the attached ONG Agreement and authorize its execution.

Funding for the design will be from the 2011 and 2014 Streets General Obligation Bond.
