Background:
The project consists of the Relocation/upsizing of approximately 3,420 LF of 30" and 1,050 LF of 36" PVC that serves as the Wagoner County Trunk Sewer Line. This includes asphalt and concrete removal and replacement, lamp holes, manholes, pipe fittings, and Directional Boring. Work also includes erosion control, pipe abandonment, CCTV, traffic control, and other utility construction activities. The project is located through the Events park at New Orleans St. and the Creek Turnpike in Broken Arrow, OK then continues northeast to Highway 51. Construction time will be 365 calendar days.
The project was advertised on June 4th and June 11th, 2024. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting was held virtually on June 18th, 2024. There were four (4) bids received on June 25th, 2024. The Certified Bid Tabulation is attached. The lowest responsible base bid was Cherokee Pride Construction Inc. for a Base Bid of $3,376,127.00 and Alternate Bid of $65,315.00 for a total bid amount of $3,441,442.00. The alternate to be awarded consists of a small section of the sewer line to be bored under the new Challenger Sports Complex Access road. The Engineer's Estimate for the Base Bid is $4,983,215.00 and Alternate Bid is $140,040.00 for a total estimate of $5,123,255.00.
