Background:
The Property located between the Creek Turnpike and Tucson Street, and west of Olive Street is a Creek Allotment owned by Steve Bim Bruner. The City has no jurisdiction or authority on this area. On-site water and wastewater facilities remain under the jurisdiction and authority of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). There have been a number of developments over the last few weeks regarding this area, including actions taken by the Muskogee (Creek) Nation and two (2) separate lawsuits filed by the Kialegee Tribal Town. The City Attorney will update the Council on the status of these matters and will be prepared to answer questions of the Council.
