Consideration, discussion, and possible authorization to execute Resolution No. 1766, a Resolution accepting the Google Water Replenishment Program Sponsorship Award for the City of Broken Arrow Non-Revenue Water Savings & Resiliency Project and authorizing the City Manager to negotiate terms of the Sponsorship Agreement
End

Background:
The City of Broken Arrow has been awarded a Google Water Replenishment Program Sponsorship in the amount of $795,000 to support the City's Non-Revenue Water Savings Project. The sponsorship provides 100% funding with no local matching funds required. The project will support implementation of a comprehensive acoustic leak detection program, acquisition of a dedicated leak detection service vehicle, expansion of the City's eLynx water pressure monitoring system, installation of a standby generator to improve water system resiliency, and related integration, training, and contingency costs.
The project is intended to strengthen the City's ability to proactively identify and repair water leaks, reduce non-revenue water losses, improve system reliability, and enhance the long-term resiliency of the municipal water distribution system. Approval of Resolution No. 1766 authorizes acceptance of the sponsorship award and authorizes the City Manager to negotiate the terms of the Sponsorship Agreement and related documents.
The negotiated contract will be brought back to the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority for final approval execution.
