Presentation regarding road closure at Aspen and Jasper on the west side of the intersection.

Background:
Paragon contractors have entered into an agreement with the City of Broken Arrow to widen the intersection at Aspen and Jasper. During construction the storm sewer for the widening along the north side of Jasper to the west of the intersection, the roadway sluffed due to poor soils. The contractor had shoring along that section, but the soils and moisture caused damage to Jasper that needs to be repaired. This repair can be done in 3 weeks along with other work to the intersection that would be safer to do when Jasper is closed at the bridge. In the attached traffic control plan attached, the road will be closed at the bridge on Jasper on the west side of the Aspen intersection. Traffic would be routed around the mile section headed east from Olive. Traffic headed west along Jasper will be allowed to turn north or south.
