Background:
New Orleans Street (101st St. S) Widening from Olive Avenue (129th E Ave.) to Aspen Avenue (145th E Ave.) is a 2011 General Obligation Bond project. A Professional Consultant Agreement was negotiated with the engineering firm of Water P. Moore and Associates, Inc. on November 11, 2011. Due to circumstances outside the design engineer’s control, construction of the project was delayed in favor of higher priority projects and funding availability.
Amendment 3 is required to update the plans to current standards and add to the plans both fiber optic conduit and a waterline crossing to the south side of New Orleans Street for a future waterline tie in loop neither of which were originally included in the design scope.
Cost: $7,500.00
