Background:

RMUA and BAMA representatives, selected Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. (Jacobs) in 2022 to update the Hakey Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (HCWWTP) Biosolids Master Plan and Facility Plan and design the chosen alternative. Amendment No. 2 is for Jacobs to complete a NEPA environmental assessment and cultural survey and to provide design services related to: 1) a new blower building, 2) rehabilitation of the west sludge tank, 3) yard piping from RDTs to holding tanks, 4) removal of old piping and valves for sludge and scum tanks, 5) new office building, and 6) gravity thickener decommissioning.

The Amendment No. 2 with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. authorizes additional design services related to the Biosolids Facilities and NEPA environmental assessment/cultural survey.  Amendment No. 2 is for $642,068.00 bringing the total Agreement amount to $4,847,882.59, the cost of which will be evenly split between the City of Tulsa and BAMA.
