Background:
With the continued growth and expansion of clay art programs at the Arts @ 302 Center, there is an increased need for a dedicated exhaust system for the kiln room. This project includes the installation of a Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS) and associated ductwork for the second-floor kiln room. The improvements will enhance ventilation and ensure the space meets applicable operational and safety requirements. The awarded contractor will provide all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to complete the installation in accordance with the project specifications.
The project was solicited by the Purchasing Division at the request of the Building Maintenance Division. It was advertised on the City’s website and in the Tulsa World. A total of four vendors were notified, with three bids received and opened on April 23, 2026. A certified bid tabulation is attached. Staff recommends awarding the project to the lowest responsible bidder, Calema LLC, DBA KMS.
