Background:

On August 19th, 2025, Broken Arrow Municipal Authority took action to authorize the purchase of one (1) ¾ ton pickup from Carter Chevrolet.  Additionally, Broken Arrow Municipal Authority took action to authorize the purchase of one (1) 1 ton service truck from Vance Chevrolet on September 16th, 2025.  The funding was authorized in the 2026 budget under fund 329 (general City of Broken Arrow funding) and not 220 (Broken Arrow Municipal Authority funding).  Therefore, the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority is not the correct body to approve the purchase, and these items will be added to the Broken Arrow City Council for consideration.
