Background:
In 2015, the Fire Department contracted with The Ludwig Group for a Deployment Analysis Study to determine the most advantageous locations for future fire stations. The Study was completed in August 2015. The approximately 2.5-acre property at the southeast corner of Washington Street (91st Street South) and First Place, was within the area recommended for the new Fire Station No. 7 location. The attached Contract for Sale of Real Estate to the City of Broken Arrow from Chae Song Ko and Young Eun Ko, husband and wife, has been negotiated by Contract Right-of-Way Agent Mike Craddock in the amount of $210,000.00. The Fire Department and Engineering and Construction Department Staff has reviewed this action and recommends approval.

A pay authorization of $1,000.00 for earnest money, to be applied to the purchase price, is on the claims list. Estimated closing costs are an additional $5,000.00.

Cost: $ 1,000.00 Earnest Money
