Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Consultant Agreement with HDR, Inc. for the Wastewater System Master Plan Update (Project No. 2554690)

Background:
In 2013, a Wastewater Systems Master Plan Report for the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority was completed by HDR, Inc. Though the report was not finished until 2018, much of the field work was completed in 2013 and 2014. Since that time extensive growth has occurred throughout the City and many upgrades have been made affecting the wastewater system. To ensure preparedness for future growth and identify needs for improvement of the wastewater system at the City of Broken Arrow, HDR, Inc. has been selected to update this Master Plan. This work includes but is not limited to evaluating BAMA's current wastewater system by way of flow monitoring, identifying areas of concern that need to be addressed, and recommending upgrades/improvements that need to be made to meet the future needs of the wastewater distribution system. HDR, Inc. will provide a Wastewater Master Plan Report that evaluates the Lynn Lane and Haikey Creek Wastewater Treatment plants for process and treatment analysis, pipe and flow data during wet and dry conditions, as well as identified areas of interest with the collection system in the City. The Final Report will give recommendations for future Capital Improvements Projects to improve the wastewater collection system over time as continued growth occurs. This project is a new project being funded with OWRB Loan money left over from previously completed projects.
The Wastewater Systems Master Plan Update Agreement has been negotiated with HDR, Inc. for $702,064.000.
