Background:
The Broken Arrow Events Park is located at 21101 E 101st St, Broken Arrow, OK 74014. On October 3, 2023, BAEDA approved an Economic Development Agreement with Sunset at Broken Arrow, LLC for the construction of a 12,500 seat outdoor Amphitheatre located near Events Park. As part of that Agreement, the City of Broken Arrow committed to providing surrounding infrastructure for the Amphitheatre.
In April, 2024 City Council approved an agreement with Crossland Heavy Contractors Inc. for Construction Management At-Risk Pre-Construction Services. The agreement was for $73,915.
In May, 2024 City Council approved the first Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP #1) of $17,729,636.02 for Phase 1. This package holds $511,920.58 in contingency.
In July, 2024 City Council approved the second Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP #2) of $2,756,646.00 for Phase 2. This package holds $98,990.00 in contingency.
