The City of Broken Arrow with the 2011 and 2014 G.O. Bond dedicated funding towards design and construction of a regional stormwater detention facility in the Adams Creek watershed on the upstream side of the future 37th Street public roadway between Albany Street and Omaha Street. AAB Engineering, LLC was selected by the City in 2013 to prepare a Conceptual Report for the proposed regional detention facility. The Conceptual Report was finalized on August 11, 2015. AAB has been selected by the City to prepare the final design and construction documents for the regional detention facility and will coordinate on the required FEMA floodplain revisions and Corps of Engineers Clean Water Act mitigation requirements for the project. The total authorized funding for the project is $720,000.00. The negotiated amount of the agreement is $51,500.00. The Architect-Engineer Agreement is attached.

Staff recommends approval of the Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with AAB Engineering, LLC. Funding for the design will be from the 2011 and 2014 G.O. Bond sales.
