Background:
Maintenance Services is recommending purchase of a Lone Star Promaster 3500 ADA custom van from Creative Bus Sales for the Broken Arrow Senior Center, utilizing the Oklahoma State purchasing contract SW0797C bid. This contract allows jurisdictions to take advantage of the pricing for such units. The vendor, Braun Ability, has been thoroughly reviewed and meets all the specifications outlined in the state purchasing award. The new van is intended to replace an older ADA van currently in use by the Broken Arrow Senior Center.
This particular van is specially designed with a lowered floor behind the driver and co-pilot seats, making it easier for individuals with disabilities to access. Its interior layout is flexible, accommodating up to 10 passenger seats and two wheelchair locations, ensuring safe transportation for all passengers.
Cost: $195,000
