Approval of and authorization to renew Oklahoma Task Force-1, Urban Search and Rescue Team, commitment letters for Firefighters Jeremy Roberts, Justin Williams, Stephen Heins, Jill Boeckman, Christopher Rivera, and Jo'es Okotoghaide, to participate on the Oklahoma Task Force-1 Urban Search and Rescue Team for fiscal year 2025

Background:
For approximately Seventeen years members of the Fire Department have participated as members of the Oklahoma Task Force-1 (OK-TF-1), the State Urban Search and Rescue Team. OK-TF-1 Tulsa Metro is comprised of emergency responders from multiple Tulsa Metro agencies with specialized training in search, rescue, damage assessment, and disaster response. The team has responded to numerous regional disasters including tornadoes, floods, and ice storms as well as multiple missing person searches. Members of the team and the agency they represent commit to participating for one year and renew that commitment annually. Battalion Chief Jeremy Roberts, Firefighter Justin Williams, Firefighter Stephen Heins, Lieutenant Jill Boeckman, Firefighter Jo'es Okotoghaide, and Firefighter Chris Rivera currently serve and have committed to serve another year on OK-TF-1.
If the City of Broken Arrow approves their participation, it agrees to:
o Release the State of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security, OK-TF-1, the Oklahoma City Fire Department, and the Tulsa Fire Department from any and all claims suffered by the Participating Agency or its employees during any training, deployment, and/or exercise sponsored by OK-TF-1.
o Provide the participating employee with coverage under Workers' Compensation during any training, deployment, drills, and/or exercises offered or provided by OK-TF-1.
