Background:
As required by Oklahoma State Statutes 11 O.S. 14 ? 109, the City Code of Ordinances must be updated every ten (10) years. Request for Proposals were sent to invite qualified companies to submit proposals for the recodification. After reviewing the proposals, the City Council decided that Municipal Code Corporation was the most qualified company to recodify the City Code of Ordinances. On August 5, 2014, the City of Broken Arrow approved a contract with Municipal Code Corporation for the re-publication of the Broken Arrow Code.
On June 3, 2015, the City received the new Broken Arrow Code books. The publication and re-codification are compiled in a permanent volume as required by statute. Copies of the codes have been provided to the Law Libraries at the Tulsa and Wagoner County Courthouses in accordance with applicable law. The Code is also available to the general public on the City's website and upon request for purchase in the Office of the City Clerk.
