Ratify the acceptance of and authorization to accept the Change Order No. 1 for the Tiger Hill water tank from Kimery Painting Inc for the center pole replacement and floor testing (Project No. 2454460)

Background:
On March 18, 2025, COBA approved the Change Order 1 for the Tiger Hill water tank project.
The Tiger Hill east water tank restoration project is to restore a 2 million gallon water tank. The tank was in disrepair and needed to be fixed and repainted. When the tank was emptied, it was found that the floor was in worse shape than anticipated. The floor welds need to be tested for strength and leaks. The center column was found to be in worse shape than originally thought as well. This needs to be repaired to ensure the integrity of the tank.
Change Order #1 addresses the following additions/deletions/changes to the contract:
- Cost associated with the testing and coating of floor weld seams
- Engineering Cost
- Additional Tank Bracing
- Deduction for not coating tank floor
- Twenty-one Days for column repairs and weld tasting.
The total cost for Change Order #1 amounts to $53,200.00
The additional cost associated with these changes is as follows:
