Approval of and authorization to execute a Parks and Recreation Use Agreement between the City of Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Volleyball Club for the use of Nienhuis Park Community Center
End
Background:
The attached use agreement grants a non-exclusive license to allow Broken Arrow Volleyball Club (BAVC) to use the Nienhuis Park Community Center Gym Annex (Premises) located within the City of Broken Arrow. The use of the Premises is to allow BAVC, a registered non-profit organization, to operate a youth volleyball league. This will be the fifth year BAVC has operated a youth volleyball league at Premises.
Use agreement highlights:
• BAVC will pay a sum of $10 per gym per hour to the City of Broken Arrow.
• BAVC will pay a sum of $10 per room per hour at Premises to the City of Broken Arrow.
• BAVC will supply their own support personnel including but not limited to referees, volunteers, and coaches.
• All coaches and volunteers will undergo a criminal background screening according to the Parks and Recreation Criminal Background Check Policy.
• BAVC must adhere to the Stay to Play section added in 2018.
• BAVC’s term for usage will commence upon approval and end on March 7, 2020.
