Background:
Rezoning case BAZ 1758 (A-1 to R-3S) was approved by the City Council on May 7, 2007, subject to the property being platted. The property, located east of the northeast corner of Tucson Street (121st Street) and 9th Street (Lynn Lane/177th East Avenue) has been platted as Brighton Village. The plat was recorded in Tulsa County on July 30, 2008. On February 1, 2008, the R-3S district was changed to RS-3; however, part of the platted property is located in the 100-year floodplain and should have been zoned FD (Floodplain District).
